The Deji of Akure Kingdom, Oba Aladetoyinbo Aladelusi (Odundun II), has removed Samuel Elewuju Fadahunsi as the Olu of Isinigbo.
This was conveyed in a statement by the Press Officer to the Deji, Michael Adeyeye, in Akure on Tuesday.
Adeyeye explained that Fadahunsi’s removal was “due to his insubordination to constituted authorities and the people of his community”.
He added that Fadahunsi had ceased to be addressed as Olu under any guise.
The statement said: “The removal of the Olu of Isinigbo remains the prerogative of Deji, who is the paramount ruler of Akure land.”
The statement urged the people of Isinigbo to go about their lawful duties and normal businesses without any fear of molestation.
