The Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria has described the death of the Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Chief James Ocholi (SAN), his wife and son as tragic and shocking.
They died in a road mishap along the Abuja-Kaduna Road on Sunday.
In a statement signed by acting General Secretary of PENGASSAN, Comrade Lumuba Okugbawa, the body described the death of the Minister as a colossal loss to the present administration in particular and the country at large.
Okugbawa expressed the Association’s condolence to President Muhammadu Buhari, members of the Federal Executive Council, the Federal Minister of Labour and Employment, the entire Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment, the Governor and people of Kogi State, and the family of the deceased Minister over the unfortunate incident.
Comrade Okugbawa recalled the late Ocholi was full of life during a mediation meeting among the stakeholders in the oil and gas industry in the Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment in Abuja last week.
He prayed God to grant the souls of the deceased Minister, his wife and son eternal rest, and comfort all the people he left behind.
