Nigeria’s flagbearers in the CAF confederations Cup, Heartland, began its campaign on a good note on Saturday.
In Yaounde, Cameroun, Heartland played out a barren draw against hosts, UniSports Hart Nkam, in the first leg, first round match.
The Owerri, Imo State-based side will need just a slim win in the return leg to move to the next stage of the competition.
The second leg comes up in a fortnight in Nigeria.
Meanwhile, the two teams in the CAF Champions League, Dolphins of Port Harcourt and Sunshine Stars of Akure, will file out on Sunday.
