Over 70 coaches took part in a two days coaching course organised by Dabo Babes Football Club of Kano in collaboration with Italian Soccer School.
The programme recorded a boost as coaches from the interior axis of the state seized the opportunity to update their knowledge on the methodology of soccer coaching.
The course instructor, Henry Abiodun of the Shalom Soccer Academy, USA, engaged the coaches on how to better execute drills, skills development and tactics, while S.O.A. Asokere, the training officer of Kano State Referees Council, upgraded the knowledge of participants on the Laws of The Game.
Prominent among coaches who attended the two-day proggramme were ex-international, Baba Otu Mohammed; former Kano Pillars Coach, Husieni Alabi; Gideon Musa Di Shola; Rabiu Tata; and the state chairman of the Council of Coaches, Alhaji Danlami Usman Akawu.
