Over 140 days after he left the state, the Enugu State Governor, Sullivan Chime, on Friday afternoon arrived in the state.
Chime, as reported on Thursday, had arrived in Abuja and moved straight to the Enugu State Government House in the Federal Capital Territory.
In Abuja on Thursday, hordes of his aides, including commissioners, reportedly met with him.
Chime then left Abuja on Friday at about 2pm and flew into the Akanu Ibiam Airport, Enugu, where his aides and supporters received him, news monitored on radio and television stations said.
Chime has been away from the state to treat an undisclosed ailment, a development that has thrown the state into turmoil.
