The Senate on Tuesday appealed to members of dreaded sect, Boko Haram, to release the abducted schoolgirls in their camp.
The message of the Senate is coming on a day the world is celebrating the Children’s Day.
The members of Boko Haram on April 14, 2014 abducted close to 300 schoolgirls of Government Girls Secondary School, Chibok, Borno State.
The abduction was greeted by outrage the world over.
The leader of Boko Haram, Abubakar, Shekau, has threatened to sell the girls if the Federal Government does not release the members of the group being held in different parts of the country.
