The Batch B, Stream 1 members of the National Youth Service Corps are at the moment protesting in Sokoto, Sokoto State.
The protest is taking place at the State Headquarters of the NYSC and adjoining streets.
According to available information, some unknown persons are attempting to swindle them of the allowance paid to them monthly by the State Government.
One of the Youth Corps members told The Eagle Online that before now, they were being owned 10 months allowance.
The allowance for six months was cleared, leaving an outstanding of four months.
However, with their passing out on Thursday, the Corps members were paid only three out of the outstanding four months after collecting their certificates.
