Unionists on Thursday paralysed activities at the headquarters of the National Health Insurance Scheme.
They were demanding for the removal of the boss of the scheme, Prof. Usman Yusuf.
Yusuf was suspended by the Minister of Health, Prof. Isaac Adewole, for alleged involvement in a N191 million mismanagement of the Agency’s fund.
The case is being investigated by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.
However, President Muhammadu Buhari, through his Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari, directed Yusuf to resume.
He was due to return to the office on Thursday (today), resulting in the protest.
