The Supreme Court has dismissed the petition filed by the Peoples Democratic Party and its candidate, Muhammad Jibrin Barde, challenging the victory of Inuwa Yahaya of the All Progressives Congress in the governorship election in Gombe State.
The Supreme Court on Friday upheld the decision of the Court of Appeal on the election held on March 18, 2023.

Delivering the Lead Judgement, Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun dismissed the appeal for lacking in merit.
