The Nigeria Police Force in collaboration with the Police Service Commission has announce the decision to conclude the stalled recruitment of Police Constables.
The Force Public Relations Officer, Commissioner of Police Frank Mba, announced this in a statement on Saturday.
The recruitment was stalled as a result of a face-off between the police management and the PSC over who has the right to recruit.
This came after President Muhammadu Buhari gave the order for the recruitment of 20,000 more personnel.
The process had already commenced before it was stalled.
According to Mba on Saturday, the process for the recruitment of the first batch of 10,000 Police Constables into the service will now be concluded.
Mba said candidates are required to check their recruitment status on the recruitment portal: www.policerecruitment.gov.ng, which will be opened from October 18 to 26, 2021.
He said candidates who are qualified for the next stage of the recruitment are to print out their examination slip which must be presented on the examination date scheduled for October 29 and 30, 2021 at designated centres across the country.
Candidates were equally advised to check their email and phone numbers for notifications.
The Force, while reiterating that the recruitment exercise is absolutely free of charge and without any pecuniary obligation, enjoined candidates to call 08100004507 for further enquiries.
