The Nigerian female student arrested in Saudi Arabia for drug possession, Zainab Aliyu, has been released.
This was disclosed on Tuesday by Abdur-Rahman Balogun, the Media Aide of the Senior Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on Diaspora, Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa.
A photograph that accompanied the terse information by Balogun showed Aliyu with officials of the Nigerian Consulate in Jeddah shortly after her release from prison.
