The Niger Delta Avengers on Tuesday laid claim to blowing up additional three pipelines and one manifold.
The claim was contained in a statement by the spokesman of the NDA, Brigadier General Mudoch Agbinigbo.
According to the statement, the pipelines blown up were those of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation and Chevron Oil, while the manifold belongs to the Nigeria Petroleum Development Corporation.
The Avengers, whose Twitter account was brought down on Monday, said in the terse statement: “At 10pm Niger Delta Avengers blew up Chevron Well 10 close to Otunana flow station.
“Other attacks were carried out at 11:15pm.
“Niger Delta Avengers blow up NPDC Manifold close to Banta and two PPMC/NNPC crude oil trunk lines.”
