A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has granted a former Chief of Defence Staff, Air Chief Marshal Alex Badeh, bail on stringent conditions.
Badeh is standing trial for allegedly converting money meant for the purchase of arms in the fight against Boko Haram.
Badeh was admitted to bail in the sum of N2 billion.
He also has to two produce sureties with landed property worth N1 billion each.
He is being prosecuted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.
