A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress and member of the highest advisory body in Lagos State, Governance Advisory Council, Prof. Tunde Samuel, is dead.
According to a report by influential online newspaper, The Gazelle News, the top politician passed away on Wednesday evening.
Available information has it that Professor Samuel is a close ally of the National Leader of the APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
He was the pioneer Provost of the Lagos State College of Primary Education, which has just been upgraded to the Lagos State University of Education.
