Breaking: Appeal Court grants Atiku’s prayers to inspect election materials

The Court of Appeal has granted the prayer of the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party for the February 23, 2019 election, Atiku Abubakar, to inspect the materials used for the conduct of the poll.

The court granted the prayer on Thursday alongside one other out of the three put forward for consideration by Abubakar.

The court equally ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission to allow him access to all electoral materials to enable him file a petition at the Presidential Election Tribunal.

Abubakar’s third prayer to allow him scan the materials for the purpose carrying out forensic audit on them was, however, refused by the court.
