Assistant Commissioner of Police dies during Valentine celebration

An Assistant Commissioner of Police, Usong Ekpo, died on Sunday during the celebration of the Valentine’s Day.
Ekpo was in charge of Area K Command in Morogbo, Lagos State.
He was said to have died in a hotel in Ajah area of Lagos State.
The circumstances surrounding his death was unclear as at press time.
But police sources said Ekpo had challenges while swimming and was rushed to the hospital where he was confirmed dead.
However, other sources said he slept and did not wake up, while another version of the story had it that he collapsed and did not recover.
