An aspirant for the upcoming local government election in Adamawa State on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, Barrister Wakili Boya, the Sardaunan Malabo, has said the ruling party succeeded in the last general elections because of the justice the party stands for.
Boya said the APC is fair to members and all kinds of people aspiring for various positions in the party.
He stressed that President Muhammadu Buhuri is the most upright man known in the country as he hates and fights corruption.
He said this has resulted in the APC to be widely known as a party that stands against impunity and imposition of candidates to the electorates.
Boya said this when he came to the APC Secretariat in Yola, the Adamawa State capital, with an unprecedented mammoth crowd to pick a Nomination and Expression of Interest Forms to contest in the forthcoming council polls in the state.
The Sardauna, while addressing hundreds of his supporters, said his ambition of becoming the Chairman of Fofure Local Government Council was as a result of the love he has for his people.
He said he responded to the call after a lot of persuasion from his kinsmen and party stalwarts of the area.
Boya said: “I’m out to work for my people.
“I want to join Buhari in this our great party of justice to work for my people who are in dire need of good leaders.
“Our party is known to be a party working against immunity and imposition, fighting all forms of injustice.
“With this, I know the party will be fair to all of us aspiring for positions in this coming council elections.
“I’m a loyal APC man and as such I will abide by whatever the party says from federal level up to the local level.
“I will obey the party’s constitution to the letter and respect all party officials.”
Boya also said because of the respect and love he has for the party, he donated chairs, power plant and office equipment to the Fofure party office.
