Enyimba FC of Aba Chairman, Felix Anyansi-Agwu, has quit his post after 15 years at the club.
The Nigeria Football Federation board member was said to have tendered his resignation letter after guiding the Peoples Elephant to another league win on Sunday at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Lagos.
Sources close to Anyansi disclosed that the football administrator opted to quit the saddle following a systematic pressure from people.
“There’s so much pressure him to leave the club after winning 27 trophies,” our source hinted.
Enyimba won their seventh league after holding Sunshine Stars to a scoreless draw on Sunday.
