Andy Ruiz names Mexican City for Joshua rematch 

Andy Ruiz Jr wants his rematch with Anthony Joshua to take place at the Estadio Azteca in Mexico City.
The Mexican-American heavyweight dethroned the British champion in a thrilling upset on June 1 and is now tied in to a contractual second fight.
Joshua and his team very quickly decided that they wanted to activate their rematch clause and announced this move just days after the defeat.
Promoter Eddie Hearn has also since revealed that they will have the final say regarding where the bout takes place, with the UK and America as the main two considerations.
However, Ruiz Jr has other desires and, when asked about a potential dream fight with AJ at the Estadio Azteca, he told ESPN MX: “I’d like that, it’d be good.
“It’d be something of history because they have never fought [in the Azteca] two heavyweight world champions.”
Mexico City’s historic 100,000+ capacity stadium has only twice hosted boxing in the past.
The first time saw unified featherweight champion Vicente Saldivar knock out Welsh challenger Howard Winstone in their 1967 trilogy fight.
The second was witnessed by one of the biggest crowds in the history of the sport, as national hero Julio Cesar Chavez stopped Greg Haugen in a 1993 title defence.
