Aliyu inaugurates CPS as Commissioner

Governor Mu’azu Babangida Aliyu of Niger State has appointed and sworn in Malam Danladi Ndayebo as the state Commissioner of Information, Communications and Strategy.
Ndayebo, until his new appointment, was the Director General (Media) and Chief Press Secretary in the Office of the Governor.
Previously, he was the Director General (Media Relations and Strategy) for two years and was Senior Special Assistant on (Media and Publicity) from November 2008 to August 2009.
In these capacities, he worked to project programmes and policies of government through timely press releases, clarifications, interfaces with media organisations and robust exchanges with opposition elements.
Ndayebo’s appointment followed a minor cabinet reshuffle by Governor Aliyu.
Commenting on his appointment, Ndayebo said: “It is a great privilege for me to take on the role of Commissioner of Information, Communications and Strategy.
“I want to thank Governor Aliyu for finding me fit for the job and the Niger State House of Assembly for endorsing me. I will continue to build on the solid foundation that has been laid by his predecessors.”
Ndayebo added that he would continue to operate in line with best practices to enable the ministry contribute to the realisation of the state’s vision of becoming one of the top three most developed state economies in the country by the year 2020.
The new Commissioner of Information was born on the January 19, 1975.
He was educated at Central Primary School (now IBB Primary School), Minna; Day Secondary School, Minna; Government Science College, Wushishi; and the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.
Ndayebo was the Editor, Southern Operations of Leadership Newspaper Group, with headquarters in Lagos before joining the services of the Niger State Government.
