The Labour Party gubernatorial candidate in Oyo State, Otunba Adebayo Alao-Akala, will on Monday inaugurate his campaign organisation codenamed Alao-Akala campaign organisation.
A statement by the former governor’s Director of Public Affairs, Oludare Ogunlana, stated that the inauguration will take place at the Labour Party House at Oke-Ado, Ibadan.
Ogunlana said it became imperative for the campaign team to be inaugurated as the election draws nearer, adding that the party and its candidates will leave no stone unturned in putting an end to the untold hardships inflicted on the masses by the incumbent administration.
The campaign will be headed by Dr. Kola Balogun, an Ibadan man and younger brother of Senator Lekan Balogun.
The former Commissioner for Works and Commerce during Alao-Akala’s reign as governor will be assisted by other people who would be grouped into committees and sub-committees.
