Alaafin meets palace staff, urges harmonious working relationships

The Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Abimbola Owoade, has asserted that with the current corporate landscape, the importance on building strong and healthy relationships within the workforce cannot be overstated.

Oba Owoade made this assertion during a maiden meeting with the palace staff, held at his private residence at Boroboro area of Oyo town, on Wednesday.

This was disclosed in a statement released by the Director of Media and Publicity to the Alaafin, Bode Durojaye, in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, on Thursday.

The monarch said the relationship was crucial not just for the smooth functioning of day-to-day operations but also for fostering an organisational culture that promotes long-term success.

He emphasised that strong, healthy relationships among the Palace workforce will lay the groundwork for effective collaboration.

“When you have mutual respect and understand each other’s strengths and weaknesses, you can work together more efficiently. 

“This synergy is crucial for tackling complex projects and innovative problem-solving, thereby driving the palace objectives forward.

Oba Owoade used the occasion to express his heartfelt appreciation to the unwavering support, encouragement, and belief in him by the people, which have been the driving force behind his confidence.

Also speaking, the wife of the Alaafin, Ayaba Abiwumi Owoade, said that when people come together in unity, they find solace and support in each other, bolstering their confidence and resolve.
