Super Eagles’ gaffer, Sunday Oliseh, has secretly kick started plans ahead of next month’s double header AFCON 2017 qualifier against the Pharaohs of Egypt.
The tactician, according to competent camp sources, has contacted all the foreign-based players he needs to prosecute the make or mar tie.
Our source said: “Oliseh understands the danger the Egyptians could pose to the country’s qualification for the 2017 edition of AFCON and has gotten the words of the Europe-based players for the tie.
“He made all the contacts during the just ended African Nation Championship in Rwanda and the players have all assured him to be part of this crucial games against Egypt.”
Speaking further, the source hinted that the national team handler is however monitoring the progress of the players in their various club sides and has vowed to invite only those that are having regular playing time.
Though, the coach is yet to confirm his return date from Belgium, but the Super Eagles’ camp will come alive in the first week of March with the home-based players.
