Nigeria National League side, ABS FC, have signed a memorandum of understanding with general sports outfit, Berackiah International, as the Ilorin based side seeks to attract sponsors to the team in the days ahead.
The CEO of Berackiah International, Nwigwe Wonders, confirmed that initial paper works have all been sorted and the stage now clear for some aggressive marketing to help the team, which is keen to return to the Premier cadre after failing to beat the drop last season.
“Yes, we have signed the MOU with ABS FC to be their consultant, amongst other things. We already have the mandate to market the team after a successful meeting with the General Manager of the team, Alloy Chukwuemeka,” Wonders stated.
Aside ABS FC, it is gathered that a number of Nigerian club sides are also willing to partner with Berackiah International, especially after brokering a mouth-watering shirt sponsorship deal for Glo Premier League champions, Kano Pillars.
Some of the clubs include Shooting Stars, Nasarawa United and Kaduna United.
