An Iyaganku Magistrates’ Court in Ibadan on Wednesday ordered the remand of one Kelvin Titan, 40, at Agodi Correctional Facility over the alleged attempted murder of his neighbour.
The News Agency of Nigeria reports that Titan is facing a lone charge bordering on attempted murder.
The Magistrate, A. T. Oyediji, who did not take the defendant’s plea due to lack of jurisdiction, ordered his remand pending the issuance of legal advice from the Director of Public Prosecution.
Oyediji, thereafter, adjourned the matter till April 15, for mention.
Earlier, the Prosecution Counsel, Insp Opeyemi Olagunju, had told the court that Titan, on March 9, at about 4.30am, allegedly attempted to cause the death of a 44-year-old woman, Bolanle Ogunleye.
