The Supreme Court has dismissed the appeal filed by the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in the March 18, 2023 election in Kaduna State, Isah Ashiru, challenging the election of Uba Sani as governor.
The Supreme Court delivered the judgment on Friday following the appeal filed by Ashiru against Sani’s election.

The apex court, in affirming the judgments of the Court of Appeal and the Kaduna State Elections Petitions Tribunal, said the Independent National Electoral Commission was right in declaring Sani of the All Progressives Congress the winner of the poll.
The judgment was unanimous by the panel of judges.
