The recently signed anti-gay bill by President Goodluck Jonathan has sent tongues wagging both on the local and foreign scenes.
An overwhelming percentage of Nigerians are happy with the law but there is the minority who just can’t stomach it.
Nigerian notable artiste, Rugged man, kicked it off with his tweet.
Rugged man said the National Assembly had better issues to address than to speedily put together an anti-gay bill.
Singer and song writer, Jodie, who is famous for her best selling hit single, Kuchi Kuchi, completely agreed with the Federal Government ban on gay marriages.
According to Jodie: “Imagine if 1842 whatever that year could stand, everyone decided to be gay and their children’s children.
“Then I wonder if human beings would exist talk less of fighting for gay rights.”
Amongst others that reacted was TV/radio personalty, Toyin Bucknor, who supported the law.
