Former Super Eagles defender, Taribo West, has told Lazio midfielder, Ogenyi Eddy Onazi, to stay in Rome for at least another year.
The Nigerian youngster is being linked with Tottenham among several English Premier League clubs this season.
West, who brought Onazi to Italy, opined: “I think he’s grown a lot as a player in these two seasons, has shown significant progress.
“In my opinion, he must remain at Lazio another year, in order to have the opportunity to play with continuity and demonstrate a higher value.
“Only then can he think about his future, but at this moment he should think about Lazio and try to win something here.”
