The Ghana Football Association has confirmed that Kwesi Appiah will take temporary charge of the Black Stars following the parting of ways with Goran Stevanovic on Monday.
A former Ghana international, Appiah, who was assistant to the former head coach, will remain in charge of the team while the GFA looks to appoint a substantive successor to Stevanovic.
Appiah made his Ghana debut in 1981 and ended his international career in 1992.
He has been part of the Ghana senior set-up since 2008 as assistant coach.
