As part of its commitment to reward and empower its customers, leading telecommunications service provider, Airtel Nigeria, has introduced an exciting trivia-based mega consumer promo to delight and handsomely reward subscribers with millions of cash prizes daily.
The promo, tagged Airtel STEP UP Promo, is anchored on a point-based
interactive SMS system where customers will accumulate points to
increase their chances of winning by responding to questions.
It is divided into three categories of Bronze, Silver and Gold, with
each category attracting a charge of ₦10, ₦50 and ₦100 respectively.
Customers who wish to enter the Basic level and compete for the daily
prize of ₦500,000 will send the keyword ‘UP’ to the short code 2222.
The more questions answered, the higher the chances of winning.
Customers can increase their chances of winning big by stepping up
from the Bronze level (₦10) to the higher levels of Silver Club (₦50)
and Gold Zone (₦100) that award more points per correct answer and
offer the daily cash prize of ₦2,000,000.
To move from the lower tier to a higher one, customers would simply
answer positively when invited during the game.
The users with the most correct answers will have the highest chances
of winning the big prize of ₦2,000,000 cash.
According to Chief Operating Officer, Airtel Nigeria, Deepak
Srivastava, Airtel Step Up Promo will lift a large number of Nigerians into instant millionaires while others will step up the financial ladder with a whooping ₦500,000 cash prize every day for 90 days.
Stated Srivastava: “The Step Up promo is based on general knowledge
questions. While testing out one’s general knowledge, it also offers
one the opportunity to win as much as N2M. This is a great way of
horning one’s general knowledge and at the same time qualifying to
winning prizes.”
According to him, Airtel has Nigeria’s largest and widest mobile
network and the Step Up Promo offers consumers the best opportunity to port to “the only network that works”.
Also, Srivastava added that the company has engaged the services of
renowned firm in systems, processes and applications audit, Alexander
Forbes, to supervise the draws and prize redemption processes in a bid to further demonstrate transparency and sustain Airtel’s well-known credibility in conducting consumer promotions that is in line with set regulations over the years.
