As part of its pre-season preparation, Kwara United Football Club of Ilorin will trade tackles with Rangers International of Enugu on February 3, 2013 at the Kwara State Stadium.
In a statement by Kwara United FC Media Officer, Prince Olayioye Olusola Ajide, all arrangements have been put in place to ensure that football lovers are treated to a scintillating pre-season encounter.
Kwara United spokesman disclosed that the top flight game against Rangers of Enugu will be a curtain raiser ahead of other pre-season friendly matches to tune up the team and prepare the players for the 2013 Nigeria premier league season.
Ajide noted that no stone will be left unturned to ensure Kwara United FC justify the huge investment of the Kwara State Government in the club.
Kwara United FC will resume its second and final phase of closed camp next week when the team shall be off to Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State for intensive training and some organized friendly games.
Meanwhile, the Kwara United Team Manager, Ibrahim Agboola Basambo, has called for prayers and support for the team as he disclosed that tested legs have been signed this season to jostle for league diadem.
Basambo sounded that with support, Kwara United will do the state proud and win laurels in the year.
Basambo appealed to supports and fans to eschew hooliganism.
