Former Golden Eaglets’ skipper, Kelechi Nwakali, has finally completed his move to Arsenal Football Club.
The Nigerian under-20 international began training with the Gunners on Wednesday after flying into London on Tuesday evening and signed his contract, which will keep him at the club until at least 2021.
His words: “I thought it was a dream but God made it real thank Him for everything. If not him I would have been disgraced. Please help me to thank Him so much. For he is good to me.”
Reports in England have suggested that Arsenal beat off competition from Manchester City and Chelsea to sign Nwakali.
Nwakali had trials at Arsenal in January, which were reportedly successful.
