A former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and the opposition Peolple’s Democratic Party (PDP), has again visited his former boss, former President olusegun Obasanjo.
Atiku arrived the penthouse residence, located within the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library, Abeokuta, Ogun State, around 10:00am and went straight into a closed door meeting with Obasanjo.
The former VP is yet to declare his intention to contest, still, his body language has since clearly shown that he has his eyes on the Nigeria’s number one man job.
Therefore, his visit to his former superior it is assumed might not be unconnected with his political ambition – to rally his support and consult for the same.
Recall that Atiku was VP to Obasanjo between 1999 and 2007.
He had vied for the presidential seat in 2007, 2011 and 2019.
The former VP is also expected to visit Alake and Paramount ruler of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Gbadebo.
Atiku was accompanied by his aides Friday during the visit.
