In a message personally signed by him Monday to mark the International Women’s Day 2022, Atiku pleaded to government and relevant non-governmental actors to sustain the advocacy for “gender equality towards guaranteeing a sustainable tomorrow for our world”.

Atiku arrived the penthouse residence, located within the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library, Abeokuta, Ogun State, around 10:00am and went straight into a closed door meeting with Obasanjo.

In a statement issued in Abuja Wednesday by his media office, the former Vice president said: “I’m deeply touched and devastated by the news of your elder brother’s demise, Alhaji Bello Muhammadu, the Wazirin Tambuwal.”

The party in a statement by its National Publicity Secretary,  Kola Ologbondiyan in Abuja on Thursday, said it was proud of Abubakar.

According to a statement by the chairman, Planning Committee of the Reunion, Mohammed Buari; and the public relations officer, Samsudeen Adenopo, the three- day programme will hold at the Oduduwa Hall of the institution from Friday August 20 to 22 from 10 a.m.

On a post on his verified page on twitter @atiku on Monday, entitled ‘Darkness Awaits Us If We Do Not End the Attacks on Our Citadels of Learning’, the former vice president decried the recent attack and abduction of students of the Federal University of Agriculture, Makurdi, Benue State.
