A viral video showing a striking resemblance of a flooded Lagos Bus Rapid Transit System, also known as Lagos BRT, has been making the rounds on social media.
The flooding followed the massive rain in Lagos State on Friday, with practically all parts of the state overwhelmed.
In the video, passengers were seen raising their legs to prevent the water from touching them, while some other people ignored the water as they tried to save their belongings, which was floating on the water.
Some people were also heard in the background saying the flood was caused by the rain.
The National Emergency Management Agency following the heavy rain on Friday, gave tips to Lagosians on what to do when next it happens.
The South West Zonal Coordinator of the agency, Ibrahim Farinloye, gave the tips, published elsewhere on this news platform.
