A veteran journalist and media consultant, Hon. Tajudeen Alani Oladipupo, was on Wednesday sworn in as the Vice Chairman of Ejigbo Local Government Area of Osun State.
He was sworn in along with other members of the Caretaker Committee by the Chairman of the LG, Hon. Gbolahan Ayegbayo.
Oladipupo, an HND graduate of Mass Communication, was born over five decades ago in Ejigbo, Osun State.
He had his primary education at AUD Primary School and proceeded to AUD High School, all in Ejigbo, after which he studied Mass Communication at the ND level at The Polytechnic, Ibadan.
For his HND programme in Mass Communication, he attended the Ogun State Polytechnic, Abeokuta (now Moshood Abiola Polytechnic) and graduated in 1992.
He served as a youth corps member with Uyo-based Akwa Ibom state-owned newspaper, The Pioneer, in 1993.
He was the Managing Editor of Gbelegbo newspaper from 1989 to 2009 before venturing into media consultancy and printing.
He has been in politics for many years and was appointed as the Special Adviser to Ejigbo Local Government Chairman on Media and Special Duties between 2004 and 2007.
He also belongs to many community development associations and clubs, including Ejigbo Local Government Development Association and Ejigbo Royal Connection.
