The US football federation has proposed a coach for Nigeria’s Super Falcons.
This was revealed by the President of the Nigeria Football Federation, Amaju Pinnick.
Pinnick disclosed that the proposal was made during a meeting with his US counterpart.
Pinnick further disclosed that the NFF have yet to hire a foreign coach for the country’s women’s team because a company that was ready to offset the salaries of such a coach almost went bankrupt.
African champions, Falcons, failed to go past the group stage of the 2015 FIFA World Cup in Canada and they also failed to qualify for the 2016 Rio Olympics.
