Union Bank wasted no time as they fired the first salvo through Tunde Daniel in the first minute of the encounter.
Union Bank’s Uzezi Oghenovo compounded the woes of the opponents with two goals in the 15th and 69th minutes, which took the game away from their reach.
Nath Boys’ Ekene Macaulay scored a consolatory goal for his side.
With this victory, Union Bank FC becomes the fourth club to go top of the table in the 2013/2014 Season.
Apapa Golden Stars will attempt to reclaim their leadership status when they battle Yobo FC at Teslim Balogun Stadium, while Remo Stars tackle Collins Edwin Sports Club at the Agege Stadium to put pressure on the table toppers.
