The absence of defence counsel has stalled the trial of five students accused of gang-raping and blackmailing a fellow student, at an Ikeja Sexual Offences and Domestic Violence Court.

A student of the University of Lagos on Tuesday told an Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court that she was allegedly gang-raped by eight fellow students and blackmailed with a video recording of the assault.
