The statement also said that speed limit violation, overloading, dangerous driving, driver’s licence violation, non-use of the passenger manifest by some fleet operators and light sign violations were other areas to be addressed during the period
Olatunji said the accident occurred when an articulated vehicle with registration number Bauchi XB 826 KTG and a Toyota starlet with registration number Bauchi AA 178 BUJ collided.
The Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Commission in Gombe State, Galadima Kuteb, who confirmed the incident, said that before FRSC officers came to the scene, the police had assisted in rescuing some of the victims
