A Federal High Court in Lagos on Monday, reserved ruling until December 3, on a motion, seeking final forfeiture to the Federal Government, of the sum of N2.2 billion recovered from a former Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Adesola Amosu.
Justice Mojisola Olatoregun had issued an interim order of forfeiture of the sum, on June 14, following an exparte motion filed by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.

Owobo made the statement under cross-examination at the resumed trial of Amosu, who is facing fraud charges alongside two other officers of the Air Force – AVM Jacob Adigun and Air Commodore Gbadebo Olugbenga.
Owobo, an operative with the commission, was testifying at the resumed trial of Amosu, who is standing trial over allegations of fraud.

Also charged are some companies: Delfina Oil and Gas Ltd, Mcallan Oil and Gas Ltd, Hebron Housing and Properties Company Ltd, Trapezites BDC, and Fonds and Pricey Ltd.
At the resumed hearing of the matter on Monday, defence counsel, Norrison Quakers, had asked a prosecution witness, one Mojeed Olatunji, a compliance officer with Skye Bank, to exhibit his international passport before the court
