Former Flying Eagles invitee, Sammy Ameobi, has been tipped to be an instant hit for Newcastle when the new English Premier League season kicks off next month.
Newcastle’s boss, Alan Pardew, who stated this on Monday, believes the winger can establish himself at St James’ Park over the next 12 months.
Pardew said: “I hope he can play a big part for us this season, but he needs to continue like this. That’s the most important thing.
“We felt last season he could have made an impact and it didn’t happen.
“So this is a big, big year for him.”
