Super Eagles’ manager Gernot Rohr has named Kelechi Iheanacho and Alex Iwobi as strike partners for this evening’s international friendly against Hawks of Togo in Paris, France.
Both players made the scorers’ chart as the Super Eagles shocked the Chipolopolo of Zambia in Ndola in a Russian 2019 World Cup qualifying tie.
Home-based goalkeeper, Ikechukwu Ezenwa will man the goal post while Stand-in captain Elderson Echiejile will marshal the defence along with William Troost-Ekong, Shehu Abdullahi and Chidozie Awaziem.
For the midfield role, Rohr opted for Mikel Agu, Wilfred Ndidi, Oghenekaro Etebo and Ahmed Musa, while Kayode Olanrewaju, Henry Onyekuru, Uche Agu, Alhassan Ibrahim, Stephen Odey, Sikiru Olatunbosun, Victor Osimhen, Dele Alampasu and Tyronne Ebuehi made the bench.
The tie kicks off at 6pm at Stade Municipal de Saint KLeu La Foret.
