Rivers Angels Football Club has congratulated Christopher Green on his reappointment as Commissioner of Sports in Rivers State.
The General Manager of Rivers Angels, Matilda Otuene-Onyiloha, said his reappointment was well deserved.
She said this followed his track record within a short period in the last administration.
Otuene-Onyiloha described Green as a goal getter and having him back will be good for the steady development of sports in the state.
She said: “On behalf of the management, players, coaches and our supporters, I want to heartily congratulate Barrister Christopher Green on his reappointment as Commissioner of Sports.
“It is indeed good to have the seasoned administrator back in the ministry. Rivers Angels as a club is delighted because he encouraged us as a team and gave us all the necessary support we needed to strive in the league.
“Barrister Green has so much plans for the Ministry and I am sure he will take our sports to the next level this time around because he is so passionate about what he does.
“He is one personality with the drive to get the best out of every situation.
“One who wants the best for his people and as a team, we will work with him to make sure he achieves his aim.”
