Police arrest housewife for killing husband

The Police in Kwara State have arrested a housewife, who smashed her husband’s head while he was asleep, leading to his death.
The woman, Fatima Yunusa, who has three children for the deceased, Isaa Yunusa, was said to have used a big stone to hit the man on the head, while he was asleep.
Eyewitnesses claimed that the spot where the man slept was covered in blood.
Sources claimed that Fatima had once abandoned her matrimonial home, after her husband, a tricycle rider, had an accident and it was believed he might not be able to walk again.
Fatima, 30, left her 48-year-old husband for Ajibade, who is 25.
It had been discovered that one of her three kids is actually an off spring of Ajibade.
She left Ajibade and went back to her husband after she learnt that Isaa could walk again.
Isaa had accepted her back because he loved her. The sources said.
Fatima, who confessed to attacking her husband while he was asleep, refused to state why she killed him.
