The Ondo State Government on Sunday declared a seven-day mourning, beginning on Monday, in honour of the late former Governor of the state, Dr. Olusegun Agagu.
This was contained in a statement issued by Eni Akinsola, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko, in Akure, the state capital.
The statement stated that Mimiko had ordered that condolence registers be opened at the Governor’s Office, Lagos and Abuja liaison offices as well as the 18 local government areas.
The statement added that Mimiko also called on indigenes and residents of the state to remember the Agagu family in their prayers.
