Nigerian international, Ogenyi Onazi, is on the verge of leaving Lazio to join Turkish club, Trabzonspor.
Onazi is a former Biancocelesti youth player, having broken into the first team squad in 2012.
However, the 23-year-old is now surplus to requirements at Stadio Olimpico and appears set to leave in a deal worth €5 million.
According to report, an agreement over the transfer was reached between all parties weeks ago, but the instability and turmoil of recent events in Turkey has prevented the deal from going through.
However, Onazi is still keen on the move and the Italian newspaper claim that the Trabzonspor President, the player himself and his agent were at Formello on Monday to iron out the final details of the switch.
