The spokesperson of the Ogun State Police Command, Omolola Odutola, has thanked the Police Service Commission and the leadership of the Nigeria Police Force, led by the Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Egbetokun, for promoting her and other members of her set to the rank of Chief Superintendent of Police.
The Police Public Relations Officer gave the commendation in a statement with which she announced her promotion and those of others.
Odutola wrote: “Good evening, respected members of the press.
“I am pleased to announce that I have been officially promoted to the substantive rank of Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP), alongside my fellow coursemates, the silver liners.
“Congratulations to each and every one of them.

I would like to express my gratitude to the leadership of the Police Service Commission and the Nigeria Police Force for their swift actions and significant progress in ensuring that deserving officers receive their promotions without delays
“This new rank will inspire me more than ever to dedicate myself to the service of the people of Nigeria.”
Odutola doubles as a lawyer and has been leveraging her role as an image manager to improve the public perception of the Nigeria Police.
Additionally, she has inspired more young women to consider careers in law enforcement, specifically the Nigeria Police Force.
