Coach Abubakar Bala of Niger Tornadoes FC of Minna on Tuesday said the club’s promise to finish the ongoing Nigeria Professional Football League among the top 10 teams was achievable.
Bala, who made the assertion in Minna in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria, restated the objective was still realisable though the team is left with four games to end the season.
He said: “The task of being among the top 10 finishers at the end of the league is still achievable because we are not relenting.
“My players are doing well to make sure that we deliver according to my earlier promise to the club.’’
He said that aside being among the top 10, there was need to bring the team to enviable position in the league which would bring about a good record for both the club and coach.
NAN reports that the club has played 34 matches and is currently on the 9th position on the league table with 48 points.
NAN recalls that the club ended the 2015/2016 NPFL on 11th position.
