The Nigerian Meteorological Agency has predicted Isolated thunderstorms over Abuja, Minna, Ilorin, Bida, Bauchi, Kaduna, Jos, Lokoja, Makurdi, Jalingo, Bauchi, Mambila axis on Saturday morning.
This was contained in the Weather Outlook issued by NiMet’s Central Forecast Office in Abuja on Friday.
NiMet predicted that the isolated thunderstorms would be during the forecast period with day time temperatures of 26 degree Celsius to 30 degree Celsius.
It said the Northern states would experience cloudy condition over Sokoto, Gusau and Yelwa in the morning.
The agency predicted chances of localised thunderstorms over the entire region in the afternoon and evening with day time temperatures of 29 degree Celsius to 32 degrees Celsius.
According to the prediction, there will be chances of rainfall activities within the country in the next 24 hour.
NiMet predicted that there would be localised thunderstorms and rains over Asaba, Lagos, Enugu, Ikom, Ogoja, Owerri, Port Harcourt, Umuahia and Obudu in the morning.
NiMet also predicted that there would be chances of localised thunderstorms over the entire southern region in the afternoon and evening with day time temperatures of 27 degree Celsius to 29 degrees Celsius.
